LEAGUES & EVENTS

How do I register for an event? 
You can register for events through the Wild Apricot app on your smart device by going to the “Events” tab, selecting the event, and clicking on “Register”
You can also register through the website by clicking the “Events” tab.

If I am on the waitlist for an event how will I know if I get in?
As registrations for events get cancelled the next person on the waiting list will be notified by email that they have a spot in the event. When in doubt, contact the member running the league for questions.

I want to play in a league but can’t make it each week. What are my options?

If you know ahead of time you can not attend at least most of the times, there is often a sub list you can sign up for - free. Unless otherwise stated, if you can not make a league you are responsible for finding your own sub - if you do not find a sub it will throw off the league for other players.

How do I get on the sub list for a league?

Go to the event registration on the website or the app and click “register” on “Event Substitutes”. The event coordinator will contact the first person on this list as subs are needed and work down the list as needed. There is no charge for joining the sub list for a league.

How do I cancel an event I registered for?

Using the Wild Apricot app click on “My tickets”, select the event you want to cancel, click “cancel” under the event information.

You can also cancel a registration on the website by going to the “Events” tab, click “Already registered” under the event, click “Cancel registration” below the event information.

Do I get a refund when I cancel an even registration?

You will not receive a refund, but you will receive a credit that can be applied to a future event.

How do I know about clinics and leagues that are available and upcoming?

Newsletter-sent monthly and includes upcoming leagues/clinics 

Email-event emails are sent prior to registration opening outlining all of the event details. If you aren’t interested in the event click the "not interested” button, and you will no longer receive emails pertaining to that event. 

Website- Scroll down to view “Upcoming events” and click on the “Events” tab.

Wild Apricot App- Click events, then "all events". This will also show upcoming events not yet open for registration.

How do I use credit on my account?

When you register for an event through the website (using a web browser and not the mobile app) your credit will automatically be applied to your payment for that event. This is recommended to quickly secure your spot in the event. 

Credits will not automatically be used when registering for events using the mobile app. If you register for an event using the mobile app and you want to apply account credit you need to email rivercitypickleball@gmail.com and include the event you want the credit applied to. Please note that once you register for an event you only have 15 minutes to pay so this method is not recommended.

How do I update my contact information?

Name, address, email address, phone number, and skill level can be updated through the Wild Apricot app or through the website.

Mobile App- click “My profile”, click the three dots below your name, select “edit profile”, make changes and click “save”

Website- click the avatar in the top right corner of the screen, click “view profile”, click “edit profile”, make changes and click “save”

How do I update my payment information?

Your payment information can be changed through the website. Login, click the avatar in the top right corner of the screen, click “view profile”, click “edit profile”, make changes and click “save”.

*Payment information can not be changed in the mobile app

How can all members of my household receive emails and other communications?

Make sure all their household members are listed with their phone and email information.
